Mandela Day is an annual global celebration that takes place on 18 July to honour Nelson Mandela's life and legacy. This day is a call to action for individuals, communities, and organisations to reflect on Mandela's values and principles and make a positive impact in their own communities.

Pebbles is close to our hearts, especially the Hemel-en-Aarde Education Project. During the stormy weather on Sunday, the temporary bridge was washed away, impacting access to the school. The authorities started building the permanent bridge last week, but it will take time to complete.

The Pebbles School is currently being temporarily accommodated at Enlighten Trust in Hermanus. But we urgently need some resources and having spoken to the Pebbles (HEA) principle here is a list that we are hoping you might help us with as part of our Mandela Day Drive:
